This 10-day safari adventure takes you through Uganda’s most iconic national parks, blending unforgettable wildlife encounters with rich natural landscapes. From tracking endangered mountain gorillas and chimpanzees in misty jungles to game drives in savannahs and boat safaris along mighty rivers, this itinerary offers the most exhilarating experiences in Uganda—the Pearl of Africa. You will visit Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable, and Lake Mburo National Parks.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your lodge

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by Leone Tours and Travel representative and safari guide who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala. You will be briefed about your 10 Days Best of Uganda Adventure Safari and you will have a good evening relaxation at your lodge.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Rhino tracking

After breakfast, begin the panoramic drive northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle. En-route, you’ll stop to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary—the only place to encounter wild rhinos in Uganda. After lunch in Masindi, continue to Murchison Falls to explore the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise – Evening Game Drive

Start the day with a game drive to spot iconic wildlife including elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and possibly leopards. Enjoy lunch, then take an afternoon boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and an array of birds. Finish with an evening game drive before returning to your lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Evening Nature Walk to Bigodi Swamp 

After breakfast, drive to Kibale Forest National Park with a game drive through Murchison Falls en route. On arrival, check into your lodge and later enjoy an evening nature walk through Bigodi Swamp, home to various primates and birds.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its wildlife diversity and rich birdlife. Check-in and relax at your lodge.

Day 6: Early Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise and Evening Game Drive

Start early with a game drive to catch predators like lions and hyenas. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, followed by an evening game drive to see more of the park’s predators in action.

Day 7: Morning Game and Transfer to Bwindi National Park via Ishasha sector

After breakfast, take a game drive through the Ishasha sector in search of tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for your gorilla trekking adventure. Optional evening village walk or souvenir shopping.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi with Evening Canoeing

Trek mountain gorillas in Bwindi, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its beautiful islands. Enjoy evening canoeing on the lake.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The park is home to elands, zebras, impalas, giraffes, and many birds. Check-in and go for an evening game drive to spot wildlife.

Day 10: Morning Bush Walking Safari and Transfer to Entebbe International Airport

Experience a walking safari in the wild, offering a close-up view of wildlife. Afterwards, drive back to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for a water experiment and lunch. Proceed to the airport for your flight home.
