After an early breakfast, head to the Kibale Forest briefing point for your guided chimpanzee-tracking experience. Walk through the forest with experienced guides as you search for chimpanzees and learn about their behaviour and habitat. When the chimpanzees are located, visitors are normally allowed a limited observation period under park regulations.
Later, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. Look out for birds, monkeys, butterflies and wetland vegetation before returning to your lodge.

After breakfast, drive towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the surrounding countryside. Night drives can provide opportunities to see animals that are less active during the day, although sightings are never guaranteed.

Start with a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, an area known for its savannah wildlife. Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob and other animals. After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George.
Observe hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds from the boat while enjoying the scenery and learning about the park's wildlife habitats.

Continue to your booked accommodation in the Bwindi region and prepare for the following day's mountain gorilla trek.

After an early breakfast, report to the designated park headquarters for a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. When the gorillas are found, follow ranger instructions and observe them for the permitted period. Return to your lodge to relax after this memorable wildlife experience. An optional Batwa community visit may be arranged if time allows.

After breakfast or lunch as arranged, leave the park and travel back towards Kampala or Entebbe. Your 11-day Uganda primates and wildlife safari ends with a transfer to your agreed drop-off point.
