This 11-day journey is the ultimate East African experience, taking you from the shores of Lake Victoria in Entebbe through Uganda’s most iconic national parks and ending in Kigali, Rwanda. Witness the majestic shoebill stork, track endangered rhinos on foot, cruise the Nile, explore rainforests teeming with chimpanzees, and stand face-to-face with golden monkeys—or even gorillas! This is a nature-packed adventure designed for wildlife lovers, photographers, and cultural explorers.

Day 1 – Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up and transferred (15 min) to Secrets Guest House, located in a lush and safe area near Lake Victoria. Relax and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 2 – Shoebill Boat Safari in Mabamba Swamps

Relax in the morning or explore Lake Victoria. At 12:45 PM, you’ll be picked up for your boat safari in Mabamba Swamps, the best place to see the rare and prehistoric-looking Shoebill.

Day 3 – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Depart at 8 AM with a stop at Victoria Mall for essentials. Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a late lunch. Optional afternoon nature walk available (approx. $20 USD).

Day 4 – Rhino Tracking & Transfer to Murchison Falls NP

Begin the day with an unforgettable guided walking safari to observe white rhinos. Continue to Murchison Falls viewpoint before your first game drive in the park.

Day 5 – Nile Boat Safari & Night Game Drive

Enjoy a morning game drive, lunch at the lodge, and a 2 PM boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls. After dinner, experience a guided night game drive.

Day 6 – Transfer to Kibale Forest NP

Transfer to Fort Portal near Kibale NP with a guided crater lake hike along the way.

Day 7 – Bigodi Wetlands Walk & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Enjoy a morning walking safari in Bigodi Wetlands with a local guide, followed by a local lunch at Tinka. Afternoon transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP with optional stops.

Day 8 – Chimp Tracking, Boat Safari & Night Game Drive

Track chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge in the morning, followed by a Kazinga Channel Boat Safari at 2 PM. End the day with an evening game drive after dinner.

Day 9 – Scenic Transfer to Mgahinga NP

Drive through scenic southwestern Uganda to Kisoro near Mgahinga NP. Optional visit to Kitagata Hot Springs available for approx. $5 USD.

Day 10 – Golden Monkey Tracking or Volcano Climbing

Included is your choice of Golden Monkey Tracking or a volcano climb (Mt. Gahinga, Muhabura, or Sabinyo).
Optional: Upgrade to Gorilla Tracking for only $700 USD.

Day 11 – Transfer to Kigali Airport

Cross the border into Rwanda and transfer to Kigali International Airport (for departures after 3 PM). Packed lunch included.
