Experience the magic of Tanzania on this 6 day private safari adventure through the country’s most iconic national parks. From vast herds of elephants in Tarangire to the legendary Serengeti migration and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, this journey brings you face-to-face with Africa’s famed Big Five in comfort and style.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Leone Tours will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Relax and settle in after your journey. In the evening, meet your guide for a detailed safari briefing.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park Game Drive

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Spot diverse wildlife including giraffes, wildebeest, lions, and dry-adapted antelope such as the oryx and gerenuk. Later in the day, transfer to your lodge in Karatu for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Journey to Serengeti National Park

Travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying spectacular views as you descend onto the Serengeti Plains. Along the way, pass Maasai villages and fertile farmland. Enter Serengeti National Park in the afternoon and enjoy an en-route game drive, keeping an eye out for predators and migrating herds. Arrive at your tented camp in time for sunset.

Day 4: Serengeti Game Drive & Transfer to Ngorongoro

Rise early for a morning game drive in search of Africa’s Big Five and other wildlife that roam the endless Serengeti. After a few hours of exploration, continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in the late afternoon and soak in the stunning views.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for a half-day game drive. Known as Africa’s “Eden,” this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals including lions, elephants, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Departure Day

Enjoy a final breakfast at your lodge before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward flight. Optional Zanzibar beach extensions available upon request.
