Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – A Warm Welcome to Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our safari team and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a relaxed walking tour of the city or an optional hike to Kilima Moto for panoramic views and a stunning sunset. In the evening, we’ll have a trip briefing to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants
After breakfast, we set off for Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting wildlife like giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and possibly lions and leopards. Lunch will be served at a scenic riverside picnic site – just watch out for cheeky baboons!

Day 3: Journey to Serengeti – Into the Heart of the Wild
We travel north toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A brief stop at the crater rim offers a spectacular view. You may also opt for a cultural visit to a local Maasai village (small fee applies). Arrive in Serengeti by late afternoon for your first game drive in the iconic Seronera Valley.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti – Witness the Migration
Today, we journey further north to follow the Great Migration. Our focus is the Mara River, where dramatic river crossings can be seen during the migration season. Expect full-day game drives in pursuit of this unforgettable wildlife spectacle.

Day 5: Mara River Drama – Following the Herds
Another full day around the Mara River gives us more chances to witness the wildebeest crossing — a highlight of the migration. With luck, you might catch a glimpse of predators like crocodiles or big cats in action. Return to your camp for a relaxing evening under the stars.

Day 6: Seronera & Ngorongoro – Changing Landscapes
After an early breakfast, we begin our drive back south through Serengeti. This journey is another opportunity to spot big cats or scavengers like hyenas. By late afternoon, we exit the park and arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, perched on the crater rim with stunning views below.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Safari in a Lost World
At dawn, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a truly unforgettable game drive. The crater floor offers excellent wildlife viewing, including the elusive black rhino. After lunch by a hippo-filled lake, we return to Arusha for a final night at Tulia Boutique Hotel.

Day 8: Kilimanjaro Foothills – Waterfalls & Coffee
Our last day takes us to the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. A short hike to the Materuni Waterfalls is followed by a visit to a local coffee farm where you’ll see — and taste — traditional Tanzanian coffee-making. After lunch, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
